LogoDevelopmental Psychopathology

In the Child and Adolescent Development Lab we study the developmental tasks of attachment, self-development and self-regulation from early childhood through early adulthood. Failure to negotiate these tasks successfully may contribute to the development of psychopathology. We are interested in what the development of psychopathology can teach us about normative development and vice versa.

The goal of our work is to understand better the processes involved in the development of psychopathology so that developmentally sensitive preventive interventions may be designed and implemented.
